A pale luminous drop of ocean jasper is bezel set in an ancient style pendant with a sculptural crescent moon crowning it. On a short oval link cable chain necklace with an S hook clasp. This luminous moon colored gem has bubbling orb patterns of beiges, grays, whites and a geode opening in the center. A tube bail on the back allows it to float on the chain. Sterling silver with organic texture and shaping throughout. Pendant oxidized and rubbed back for a dark patina in recesses. One of a kind. Handcrafted by the artist, Miche McClendon, in her Laguna Beach studio/gallery. Signed with a handmade custom crescent moon stamp on the back.
