This wide band sterling silver ring has a tall bezel setting with a pink star ruby. Hammered, organic metal texture throughout. Oxidized and rubbed back for a dark patina in recesses. The magical gem shows a sharp six point star pattern in direct light. This phenomenon is called asterism and is created by tiny rutile fibers in this unique gem. One of a kind. Hand fabricated from by the artist, Miche McClendon, in her Laguna Beach studio/gallery. Stamped with a custom crescent moon signature on bottom of band.
