A large baroque pearl pendant hangs on a vintage glass bead necklace. The beachy beads are strung on a pale sage green. One of a kind. Handcrafted by the artist, Miche McClendon, in her Laguna Beach studio gallery. Signed a tiny handmade custom crescent moon stamp.
Pearls are organic gems created by shellfish. They are special because they start off as an irritant inside the shell, which the creature coats until is is transformed into a treasure. Pearls are said to lend depth of feeling. They help one resolve conflict and ease loss and grief.
