A hand carved and cast sterling silver triskelion pendant necklace is created using ancient triskelions rock carvings as reference. On a long bright silver cable chain with one large decorative link. Pendant is oxidized and rubbed back for a dark patina in recesses. Each is unique and handcrafted individually by the artist, Miche McClendon, in her Laguna Beach studio/gallery. Signed with a handmade custom crescent moon stamp on the back.
The triskelion symbol is comprised of three spirals and is one of the oldest symbols on earth. It has been found in many early cultures. Adopted by the Celtic people, it is now seen to represent the mind-body-soul, the trinity and eternity.
