A hand forged sculptural comet shaped pendant has a bezel set dark opal and hangs on a long double link cable chain necklace. The opal appears almost black, but in light, shows bright flashes of rainbow colored fire. This comet piece is shaped by melting it with fire and forging with hammering. Handcrafted in sterling silver by the artist, Miche McClendon, in her Laguna Beach studio/gallery. Signed with a handmade custom crescent moon stamp on the back. One of a kind.
